Life coaching has developed over the last 15-20 years into a critical activity in supporting all areas of life. The world and its environments are changing rapidly. The pace of change is putting additional stresses on all of us. We cannot always change our environment, but we can change the way we experience it. That is one of the cornerstones of the NLP Philosophy.
By looking at the way we experience these pressures /environments, and understanding our own "Map of the World", it is possible, with the appropriate help, to make our experiences better. NLP has a series of tools that can be used by a trained coach to get the individual into a "Positive Place" .The key principle of NLP Coaching is to understand that it is the client's agenda that is critical, and to find the NLP tool or series of NLP tools to take the client into this positive place.
As an NLP coach I can deal with any particular issue, which could be to do with , lack of confidence, lack of self esteem,relationship problem.
Executive Coaching
This form of coaching is specifically tailored for the Executive or Manager, who needs some help with dealing with a large work related challenge or series of challenges. It can incorporate some of the NLP techniques where appropriate, but will usually involve some additional experiential guidance. This is where the "Coaching" and "Mentoring" come together. The specific challenges can include such things as leading a large project, starting a new assignment, affecting cultural change within an organisation, or starting up a new business .
Typically, but not exclusively, this type of support is offered to individuals in new roles, or those who are about to start a new role.
I can use the NLP coaching techniques to get an individual more confident and more focussed to deal with their specific challenges.
